From the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen to the bustling cities of Casablanca, Marrakech, and Fes, you’ll experience the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of Morocco. Of course, the highlight of the tour is a camel trek through the Sahara Desert, where you’ll watch the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in a traditional Berber camp.

 DAY 1: TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN – DISCOVERING THE BLUE PEARL

On Day 1 of the 5 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we will depart from Tangier and head towards Chefchaouen, which is also known as the Blue Pearl of Morocco. This picturesque city is located in the heart of the Rif Mountains and is famous for its blue and white painted buildings, winding streets, and relaxed atmosphere. During the drive, you will be able to take in the stunning scenery of the Moroccan countryside. As we approach Chefchaouen, the landscape will become even more breathtaking, with rolling hills and dramatic peaks rising up in the distance.

Once we arrive in Chefchaouen, we will check into our riad and have some free time to explore the city on our own. You can stroll through the narrow alleyways, admire the colorful architecture, and immerse yourself in the local culture. In the evening, we will gather together for a traditional Moroccan dinner, featuring flavorful tagines, fresh vegetables, and sweet pastries. Afterward, you can relax in the peaceful surroundings of the riad or venture out to experience the nightlife of Chefchaouen.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN TO FEZ VIA VOLUBILIS AND MEKNES TOUR

On the second day of your 5 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we will set out early in the morning towards the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. This archaeological site is home to some of the most impressive Roman ruins in Morocco, including a stunningly preserved triumphal arch and the remains of several grand public buildings. We will take a guided tour of the site to learn about its rich history and cultural significance. After exploring Volubilis, we will drive to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Here, we will visit the grand Bab Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the bustling medina. We will take time to admire the intricate architecture and vibrant atmosphere of this fascinating city before continuing on to our next destination.

Our final stop of the day will be in the city of Fez, where we will spend the night in a traditional riad. This charming and ancient city is known for its stunning medina, with its winding alleyways, vibrant souks, and intricate architecture. We will have some free time to explore the city on our own, soaking up the sights and sounds of this enchanting place.

DAY 3: FES TO MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will embark on an exciting journey towards Merzouga, the gateway to the vast Sahara Desert. Along the way, we will pass through some of the most spectacular landscapes in Morocco, including the Cedar forest of Ifran, also known as “The Switzerland of Morocco,” and Berber villages at Azrou, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and learn about their traditions and way of life. We will then make our way to Midelt, a charming town known for its pleasant climate and rich mineral deposits. Our journey will take us through the stunning Ziz Valley, where we can admire the panoramic views of the lush green oasis, surrounded by rocky cliffs.

As we continue our journey, we will pass through Erfoud, famous for its palm groves and fossils. Finally, we will reach Rissani, a bustling town that boasts a vibrant local souk and delicious Berber pizza, where we can take a break and savor the local flavors. We will then make our way towards the majestic Merzouga desert, where we will spend the night in a traditional Berber camp. Here, you will have the opportunity to ride a camel, witness the breathtaking sunset over the golden dunes, and marvel at the dazzling night sky, adorned with countless stars.

DAY 4: EXPLORING TODRA AND DADES GORGES FROM MERZOUGA

In the morning, you’ll wake up early to catch a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the majestic Merzouga dunes. After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey to the Dades Gorges, where we’ll spend the night in nomad yurts. On our way to Dades Gorges, we’ll have a memorable camel ride in Merzouga, followed by a visit to the stunning Todra Gorges. Here, you’ll have a chance to explore the towering rock walls and take a refreshing walk along the river. We’ll stop for lunch in Boulmane Dades, and then continue our journey through the Valley of Roses, Kelaat M’gouna, and the valley of numerous Kasbahs. Finally, we’ll arrive at Skoura Oasis, which is famous for its palm groves and the stunning Amridil Kasbah. From here, we’ll proceed to Dades Gorges, where we’ll spend the night in traditional nomad yurts, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding nature.

DAY 5: EXPLORE DADES GORGES, OUARZAZATE AND MARRAKECH

After enjoying breakfast at our accommodation, we will set off towards the city of Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”. Here, we will visit a local kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios, which have been the backdrop for numerous Hollywood films. Next, we will make our way to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has also served as a filming location for many movies and TV shows.

We will then cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains, passing through the breathtaking Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass, with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakesh, where we will drop you off either at the airport or your hotel, marking the end of our unforgettable 5 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech.
