We will have the opportunity to take in the stunning views of this picturesque town, stroll through its blue-washed streets, and visit its vibrant markets. In the evening, we will settle into our accommodation in a local hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN TO FES VIA VOLUBILIS AND MEKNES TOUR

On the second day of your 10 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we’ll start our journey after enjoying a delicious breakfast in our accommodation at Chefchaouen. Before leaving the city, we’ll stroll through the narrow blue-painted streets, taking in the unique atmosphere and capturing some lovely photos. Our next destination is southward to explore the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. We’ll visit Bab Mansour, one of the biggest doors in Africa that has stood the test of time for hundreds of years. Later, we’ll proceed towards Fes, which will be our next destination. We’ll arrive in Fes after an hour of driving from Meknes, just in time for lunch. Once we have checked into our hotel or riad, we’ll have the rest of the day to relax and recharge our batteries for a guided city tour of Fes the following day.

DAY 3: FES SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Fes is a city steeped in history and culture, and our full-day tour will take you on a journey through time. You’ll explore the bustling old Medina, where you’ll discover the traditional souks that have been in operation for centuries. Our local guide will lead you through the maze of narrow alleys and streets, sharing their knowledge and stories about the city’s past and present. One of the highlights of the Fes tour is the opportunity to visit the Karaouine University, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world. On the fourth day of your 10 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we’ll start early in the morning and leave Fes behind to embark on an exciting journey to Merzouga. As we depart from the city, we will traverse the Middle Atlas and halt at the delightful village of Ifrane, nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Take delight in the city’s distinct architecture and delve into its captivating history. Our next stop will be in the lush forests of Azrou, where we’ll get to see wild macaque monkeys in their natural habitat. After this, we’ll head to the city of Midelt, which is located in the geographic heart of the Middle Atlas. We’ll have lunch here and take some time to explore the city’s sights and sounds.

We’ll then continue our journey towards Merzouga, passing through the breathtaking Ziz valley, where we’ll stop to take in the stunning views and capture some amazing photos. DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR AND ACTIVITIES

We’ll start with a thrilling 4×4 ride across the vast sand dunes of Merzouga, followed by a visit to the charming village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnaoua music masters. Afterward, we’ll head to Serji Lake, a haven for migratory birds like pink flamingos, for a refreshing break. The highlight of the day will be our visit to a nomad family in the heart of the desert. We’ll have a chance to witness their simple yet fascinating way of life, learn about their customs, and share tea with them in a traditional Berber tent.

We’ll then make our way to the hotel on the road, where we’ll spend the night, ready to continue our journey the following day.

DAY 7: DADES VALLEY TO MARRAKECH VIA OUARZAZATE AND AIT BEN HADDOU

The next morning, you’ll wake up at your hotel in Boumalne Dades and enjoy a delicious breakfast before embarking on the next leg of your Moroccan adventure. Today’s journey will take you through the beautiful Kasbahs that dot the landscape as you make your way to the city of Ouarzazate, which is a popular filming location for movies and TV shows. Along the way, you’ll stop in Kalaat Mgouna, which is the heart of the rose valley, where you can tour a regional cooperative for the rose business. After visiting Kalaat Mgouna, you’ll continue on to Ait Ben Haddou, a kasbah that was built in the 19th century by Et Hami El Glaoui and is now included as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Et Hami El Glaoui, who was one of the final Berber chieftains, constructed a kasbah that now serves as the residence of several Glaoui individuals. As you explore this magnificent structure, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported back in time to a bygone era.

Finally, your journey will take you to the vibrant city of Marrakech, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad. You’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind before embarking on a guided city tour the following day, during which you’ll discover the rich history and culture of this amazing city. DAY 8: DISCOVERING MARRAKECH’S BEST SIGHTS

Once you finish your breakfast, a knowledgeable tour guide will accompany you for a city tour of Marrakech. The tour begins with a visit to the grand Koutoubia Mosque, which is one of the most prominent landmarks in Marrakech and served as an inspiration for other architectural masterpieces such as the Giralda in Seville and the Hassan Tower in Rabat. After taking in the stunning views of the mosque, your next destination is the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs. The Saadian tombs, dating back to the reign of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur, were rediscovered in 1917 by the Beaux-arts personnel who then restored the graves to their former glory. You will have the opportunity to visit the tomb where around sixty members of the Saadian Dynasty, whose roots can be traced back to the Draa River valley, are laid to rest.

Later, after lunch, you will head over to the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. As we depart from Marrakech and make our way through the scenic fields of argan trees, we may have the chance to see wild lambs climbing up the trees to reach the nuts. Upon arrival in Essaouira, we will be greeted by the city’s historic Medina, an ancient walled city that is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city’s allure is enhanced by the blend of Portuguese and Andalusian architecture, which can be seen in many of its buildings, walls, and gates. During our tour, we will have the opportunity to visit several sites of historical and cultural significance, including the historic ramparts, the bustling fishing port, and the vibrant souks. DAY 10: DEPARTURE FROM MARRAKECH AIRPORT
