 DAY 1: TANGIER TO FES VIA CHEFCHAOUEN

Our private 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga begins with a hotel pick-up. Once we arrive in Chefchaouen, our experienced guide will lead you through the fascinating streets of the old Medina. You’ll discover the unique culture and history of the city, with its distinctive blue-painted houses and vibrant markets selling handicrafts, spices, and souvenirs. Take in the breathtaking views of the Rif Mountains surrounding the town and immerse yourself in the tranquility of its charming cafes and restaurants. We’ll also visit the Kasbah Museum, a restored 18th-century fortress that offers insight into the city’s rich history and culture. Later, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch before continuing our journey towards Fes, where we’ll spend the night and recharge for our exciting adventure in the Sahara.

DAY 2: DISCOVER FES, IFRANE, AND MERZOUGA DESERT

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will set out on our journey towards one of the most captivating destinations in Morocco – the Merzouga Sahara Desert. As we drive through the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, you’ll be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of nature that surround us. We’ll make a stop in the picturesque city of Ifrane, also known as “Morocco’s Little Switzerland”, and take a stroll through its charming streets. Next, we’ll pass through the quaint town of Azrou and witness the beauty of the lush green forests that line the road. We’ll cross the stunning Ziz Valley, which is famous for its date palms, and make our way to Midelt, a city known for its fossils.

Our next stop will be in Erfoud, where we’ll have the chance to explore the fascinating world of fossils. We’ll then continue on to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, we’ll embark on a camel ride through the golden sands of the Sahara and experience the magic of the desert. We’ll spend the night in a traditional Berber camp, enjoying a delicious dinner under the starry sky while listening to the enchanting sound of Berber music.

 DAY 3: MERZOUGA TO DADES VALLEY VIA TODRA GORGES

Continuing on our Tangier desert tour, we’ll wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Merzouga dunes. As the sun rises, the colors of the desert sky blend into a magical display of oranges and pinks. After taking in the stunning views, we’ll start our camel trek back to Merzouga village, where our driver will be waiting to take us on our next adventure. We’ll drive towards Rissani, a small town located at the edge of the Sahara Desert, and explore Tafilalet, the region where the Alaouite dynasty, the current royal family of Morocco, originated from.

From there, we’ll continue our journey to the Todgha Gorge, a spectacular canyon carved by the Todgha River. We’ll walk along the river and admire the towering cliffs that surround us. Next, we’ll visit the Dades Valley, famous for its breathtaking landscapes and towering rock formations. We’ll spend the night in a traditional riad, where we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and relax after an eventful day of exploring.

DAY 4: DISCOVERING DADES VALLEY, AIT BEN HADDOU, AND MARRAKECH

On the last day of our private 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga, we’ll start our journey after having a delicious breakfast. Our first stop will be at the Valley of Roses, where you’ll be amazed by the beautiful scenery and the fragrant smell of roses. Next, we’ll visit Skoura, a stunning oasis town famous for its palm groves, before heading to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco, where we’ll visit a movie studio and learn about the Moroccan film industry. From Ouarzazate, we’ll make our way to Ait-Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most well-known fortified cities in the world. This breathtaking city has been used as a backdrop for many famous movies, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the local kasbah and experience the rich history and culture of this unique city.

After visiting Ait-Ben-Haddou, we’ll cross the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, one of the highest mountain passes in Morocco, and make our way to your accommodation in Marrakech, where our services will come to an end.
