DAY 1: TANGIER TO ASILAH

Your adventure in Morocco begins with a pick-up in Tangier, a city known as the “door of Africa” and one of the most vibrant, mysterious, and interesting places in the country. Spend part of the morning exploring the city and taking in its bustling atmosphere before embarking on your journey to Asilah. On the way to Asilah, you’ll make a stop at the Caves of Hercules. Legend has it that this is the place where the mythical hero Hercules rested after completing his 12 labors. The entrance to the cave is oriented towards the Atlantic, and during high tides, the caves are flooded, creating a unique and awe-inspiring view. You won’t want to miss this experience!

Afterward, you’ll arrive in Asilah, a small seaside village that is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in northern Morocco. Its small medina, characterized by blue houses and pictures decorated with colorful drawings, is a delight for the senses. You’ll spend the night in a charming hotel and awaken to breathtaking views of the ocean. The tranquil and idyllic atmosphere will make you feel like you’re in a paradise far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

DAY 2: EXPLORE THE CITIES OF ASILAH AND RABAT

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will continue our 15 days tour from Tangier to explore the city of Rabat. Rabat, also known as the City of Gardens, is the administrative capital of Morocco and is a unique blend of modern and traditional culture. Surrounded by multicolored hillsides and mountains, the city is a sight to behold with its harmonious gardens, luxury shops, and beautiful flowers. As we explore Rabat, we will be enchanted by the city’s elegance and the dynamic mix of ancestral and modern culture. There will be free time to stroll around and discover the city’s highlights, including the famous Hassan Tower, Kasbah of the Udayas, and the Royal Palace. After a day filled with adventure and exploration, we will head back to our charming hotel to rest and prepare for the next leg of our journey.

DAY 3: EXPLORE THE VIBRANT CITY OF CASABLANCA FROM RABAT

After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey along the beautiful Atlantic coast to the vibrant city of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. You’ll have the entire day to explore this fascinating city and its many attractions. One of the must-visit attractions is the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, and a true masterpiece of Islamic architecture. You’ll have the opportunity to marvel at the intricate details and stunning beauty of the mosque, and even take a guided tour inside the mosque as a non-Muslim tourist. Additionally, you can also visit the Old Medina, stroll along the Corniche and enjoy the sea views, or explore the vibrant and bustling markets of the city. After a full day of exploring, we’ll retire to a charming hotel where you can relax and unwind.

DAY 4: CASABLANCA TO ESSAOUIRA

As we continue our journey along the Atlantic coast, we are treated to stunning views of the coastline before reaching the charming city of Essaouira. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a true gem, with its preserved architecture, colorful markets, and relaxed atmosphere. The city is also known for its vibrant art scene, attracting artists and creatives from all over the world. You’ll have plenty of free time to explore the winding streets of the medina, stroll along the beach, or even try your hand at windsurfing or kitesurfing in the clear waters of the bay. As the sun sets over the ocean, you can unwind in the comfort of a charming riad, immersing yourself in the unique blend of Moroccan and European influences that make Essaouira so special.

DAY 5: ESSAOUIRA TO MARRAKECH

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, take some free time to explore the charming medina of Essaouira before departing for the vibrant city of Marrakech. As you arrive, our team will transfer you to a traditional Riad in the heart of the city. You will have the rest of the day to relax and get acquainted with your surroundings, perhaps exploring the bustling souks, admiring the beautiful architecture, or enjoying some delicious Moroccan cuisine. Your accommodation will provide a peaceful and authentic atmosphere to help you unwind and prepare for the adventures ahead.

DAY 6: EXPERIENCE THE AUTHENTIC MARRAKECH WITH A LOCAL GUIDE

Marrakech is a city full of charm and surprises, and today is your chance to explore more of its wonders. As one of the four imperial cities of Morocco, Marrakech is famous for its numerous World Heritage monuments, such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. In addition, the city’s vibrant culture and lively atmosphere are best experienced in the famous Jemaa el Fna square. You can wander through the different neighborhoods of Marrakech, each with its own character and charm, such as the modern city of Guéliz, the luxurious district of Hivernage, the palm groves of Palmeraie, or the historic Mellah, the Jewish quarter. Or, you can immerse yourself in the winding streets of the Medina, where the sounds, aromas, flavors, and colors of Marrakech come to life in the bustling Jemaa el Fna square, filled with entertainers such as jugglers, musicians, fakirs, and snake charmers.

Whatever you choose to do, you are sure to fall in love with the magic of Marrakech. Tonight, relax and rest in your charming Riad, ready for your next adventure.

DAY 7: MARRAKECH TO OUZOUD WATERFALLS AND BACK

Continuing our 15 days tour from Tangier, we embark on a day trip to the world-renowned Ouzoud Waterfalls. These magnificent falls, standing at a towering height of 110 meters, are nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, in the province of Azilal. These falls are widely regarded as the most breathtaking in Morocco and indeed all of North Africa. Surrounded by a stunning landscape painted in an array of vivid colors, these waterfalls are truly a feast for the senses.

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to observe the playful monkeys that inhabit the area. These inquisitive primates are known for their cheeky behavior as they try to steal food from unsuspecting tourists. Get your camera ready as you watch them swing from branch to branch and interact with each other in their natural habitat.

DAY 8: MARRAKECH TO DADES VALLEY VIA AIT BENHADDOU

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic journey to Ait Benhaddou. Our route will take us through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, where we’ll traverse the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka pass and pass by several charming Berber nomad villages en route. The stunning scenery along the way will leave you awestruck. On arrival, we’ll first visit the Kasbah of Telouet, which is one of the best-preserved Kasbahs in the region. We’ll have ample time to explore this ancient fortress and appreciate its intricate architecture before setting off on the track to the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.

The latter has been featured in numerous films, including the famous “Babel,” and is renowned for being one of the most well-preserved Kasbahs in Morocco. Our journey will continue to Ouarzazate, and we’ll cross the picturesque Rose Valley before reaching the stunning Dades Gorges, where the renowned “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs” begins. We’ll spend the night in the enchanting Dades Valley, where we’ll dine on sumptuous local cuisine at a charming hotel. It will undoubtedly be a day to remember on our 15 days tour from Tangier.

DAY 9: DADES VALLEY TO MERZOUGA VIA TODRA GORGES

After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a scenic drive to the Gorges of Todra, where we will be amazed by the sheer canyon walls that rise more than 200 meters high. You can enjoy a pleasant walk through the gorge, taking in the breathtaking views before making our way towards the desert, passing through the palm grove of Tafilalet. As we approach the desert, we will arrive at our hotel located at the foot of the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you can walk through the fine sand and marvel at the stunning landscape that surrounds you. Take a moment to relax and soak in the beauty of the Sahara Desert.

In the evening, we will indulge in a delicious Moroccan dish that will tantalize your taste buds. Spend the night in a charming room in the hotel, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the desert.

DAY 10: MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT TOUR – EXPLORE ERG CHEBBI DUNES

After indulging in a delicious Moroccan breakfast, we will hop on a 4×4 to embark on an adventurous journey around the sand-drenched Erg Chebbi dunes. Our itinerary will be punctuated with numerous stops to explore how and where the nomadic families in the area reside, breathtaking oasis amidst the desolate surroundings, spectacular landscapes, and quaint desert villages. Along the way, we’ll visit the village of Khamlia, inhabited by people from Mali, who will entertain us with a beautiful Gnawa music concert, while we relish a cup of refreshing tea.

On our return to the hotel, our dromedaries will be waiting for us to embark on an hour and a half journey through the dunes, traversing our way through the waves of sand until we reach the heart of the desert to witness a spectacular sunset. Encompassed by the Great Dune, and accompanied by the beat of drums, we’ll savor a delicious dinner and Moroccan tea, while gazing at the awe-inspiring starry sky. Finally, we’ll spend the night in a charming nomad tent.

DAY 11: MERZOUGA TO MIDELT VIA RISSANI AND ZIZ VALLEY

After breakfast, we continue our journey from the Sahara to the ancient city of Rissani, home to the most traditional and authentic souk in Morocco. Here, we will wander through the labyrinthine alleys of the market, filled with vibrant colors, exotic aromas, and an array of handicrafts, food, and animals. This bustling marketplace provides a fascinating glimpse into the daily life and culture of the local people. Leaving Rissani behind, we travel via Erfoud, known as the gateway to the desert, and famous for its unique fossil products. As we cross the majestic Ziz Valley, with over 18,000 lush palm trees, we’ll reach Midelt, a charming city nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and spend the night in a lovely hotel, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery.

DAY 12: MIDELT TO FES VIA MEKNES

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will depart for the city of Meknes, where we will explore the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis. From there, we will continue on to Fes, where we will have the remainder of the day to explore the city’s many treasures, including its winding medieval streets and bustling souks. As the sun sets, we will retire to our charming accommodations, ready to rest and recharge for another day of adventure in Morocco.

DAY 13: FES CITY TOUR WITH A LOCAL GUIDE

On this free full day in Fes, you’ll have the opportunity to explore one of the four imperial cities of Morocco, which is also considered the religious and cultural center of the country. Fes is home to the famous Al Quaraouiyine University, which is renowned for its study of Arabic and the Muslim religion and is a popular destination for Moroccan students. During your exploration of Fes, you can wander through the city’s various neighborhoods, including the newer Fes el-Jdid area, where you can visit the Mellah (Jewish quarter) and the Ville Nouvelle (French New Town) in the northwest. But of course, no visit to Fes is complete without exploring the ancient part of the city, known as Bali, which is situated within the walls. Here, you can stroll through its winding alleys and feel like you’ve been transported back in time, surrounded by potters, smiths, craftsmen, and donkeys loaded with merchandise from various backgrounds.

One of the highlights of Fes is the famous tanners’ souk, where you can witness the ancient and fascinating process of how craftsmen give vivid colors to leather, using techniques that date back to medieval times. You can also explore other landmarks in Fes, such as the Bab Boujloud gate, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Dar Batha Museum. At the end of a fulfilling day, you can relax in your charming riad accommodation.

DAY 14: FES TO CHEFCHAOUEN – DISCOVERING THE BLUE PEARL

After an early morning departure, we’ll head towards Chefchaouen, a picturesque little town nestled in the Rif Mountains. As we wind our way up the slopes of Tisouka and Megou, the two peaks that tower above the village like horns, we’ll begin to see glimpses of Chefchaouen’s distinctive blue and white buildings. Unlike many Moroccan cities, Chefchaouen has very little car traffic, making it a peaceful and relaxing destination. The air is fresh and clean, and the narrow streets are perfect for exploring on foot. As we wander through the town, we’ll see brightly painted doors and window frames, intricate tile work, and charming courtyards filled with potted plants and fountains. One of the highlights of Chefchaouen is its bustling market, where vendors sell everything from handmade textiles and ceramics to fresh produce and spices. We’ll have plenty of time to browse the shops and practice our bargaining skills before returning to our charming riad for the evening.

DAY 15: CHEFCHAOUEN TO TANGIER TOUR

As our 15 days on Morocco Tour comes to an end, we bid farewell to the enchanting city of Chefchaouen and head towards Tangier. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to the port to catch our departure ferry. This will mark the end of our journey, filled with memorable experiences and breathtaking landscapes that will stay with us for a lifetime.
